The Triton Vikings (1-14) led at halftime, 28-23, but were unable to hold on for the win as Masconomet scored the game's last five points to win, 62-58. Collin Smith led the way for Triton with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Charles Anderson did a nice job of finding teammates as he notched 11 assists and scored six points. Darren Lewis (11 points) and Tom Bashaw (7 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) also played well for Triton.
"There was a real nice team effort tonight," said Triton coach Ryan Souliotis. "Players are getting up to varsity speed, and we're playing better offensively - swinging the ball better and taking it to the hoop instead of settling for threes."
