Grover doubles at States

At the Division 1 State Meet, Andover swimmer Zach Grover had another brilliant day. The junior won the 200 IM in 1:51.53 and the 500 freestyle in 4:38.31. The only other area top-6 finisher was Andover's Richard Li with a fifth in the 500 free.
Andover placed eighth at the meet, which St. John's Prep won by 116 points. Central Catholic, led by a ninth-place finish by Daniel Vasquez in the 500 free, tied North Andover for 29th place.

Andover's Grover wins 500 free

At Sunday night's North Sectional swim meet, Andover placed sixth behind a stellar performance from junior Zach Grover. He won the 500 freestyle and was edged out for first in the 200 IM.

Andover wins MVCs

Andover dominated the relays (two firsts and a second) en route to winning the MVC Championship Meet. The Golden Warriors scored 408 points to shade Chelmsford, 408-374. Andover got individual wins from Zach Grover (200 free, 100 backstroke), Sean Bradshaw (diving) and Richard Li (500 free)

Vikings' big win

Triton boys swimming picked up its second win of the season on Monday, beating Hamilton-Wenham 73-64. Ben Hall, Justin Flodman, Grayson Fountain and Alex Kelleher combined to win both the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays, and each won an individual event as well.

Triton boys win

The Triton boys swimming and diving team narrowly edged out Ipswich on Monday 62-60 to win their first meet of the year. Ben Hall, Justin Flodman, Grayson Fountain and Alex Kelleher were each part of first-place 200 medley and freestyle relay teams, and Fountain also won the 200 freestyle (2:11.94) and 100 freestyle (57.50) as well.
