After a tough first year under Ryan Souliotis, the Triton Vikings finished strong winning three of their last four. Mike Foley led the Vikes with 11 points followed by Darren Lewis with 10 points and Jed Hutchins with nine points (all in the second half)

The Triton Vikings (3-16) continued to play competitive basketball yesterday, beating Fellowship Christian Academy, 63-43. The score at halftime was 35-18, Triton. Tom Bashaw (16 pts), Darren Lewis (12 pts), and Andrew Fecteau (9 pts) played well for the Vikings.

Andrew Fecteau and Colin Smith scored eight points each for Triton. Charles Anderson had four points and four assists.

The Triton Vikings (1-14) led at halftime, 28-23, but were unable to hold on for the win as Masconomet scored the game's last five points to win, 62-58. Collin Smith led the way for Triton with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Charles Anderson did a nice job of finding teammates as he notched 11 assists and scored six points. Darren Lewis (11 points) and Tom Bashaw (7 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) also played well for Triton.

The Triton Vikings (1-12) extended their five game losing streak with a 73-41 loss to Manchester-Essex. Charles Anderson led the Vikings with 13 points, 5 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds, and Tom Bashaw added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

One quarter made a huge difference in a matchup of two Vikings' teams, as Rockport outscored Triton 23-1 in the second quarter and won by a comfortable margin,  51-36.

However, Vikings' coach Ryan Souliotis said Triton worked really hard in the second half and Bert Comins (7 points) was a real spark plug for the team. Sam Ferrara led the Vikes with 10 points.

Tom Bashaw (17 points) and Charles Anderson (8 points) led a gritty defensive effort by Triton, but Hamilton-Wenham had too much of a size advantage in the fourthy quarter the Generals were able to exploit the mis-match. 

Stephen Deas (11 points), Jared Flannigan (13 points), and Bill Medvitz  (10 points) helped lead Amesbury to its first win of the season over Triton.

Sam Ferrara had eight for Triton (1-8). Charles Anderson added six. The Vikings play at Amesbury on Thursday evening (6:30 p.m.).

"We're on level footing with Amesbury," said Triton coach Ryan Souliotis. "We're looking for a well-played game by both sides."

First-year coach Ryan Souliotis recorded his first win as Triton's coach. Senior Tom Bashaw led the scoring attack with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Charles Anderson added 15 points, four assists and four steals. Matt Musto had 12 points.
