Vikings cruise by FCA, 63-43

The Triton Vikings (3-16) continued to play competitive basketball yesterday, beating Fellowship Christian Academy, 63-43. The score at halftime was 35-18, Triton. Tom Bashaw (16 pts), Darren Lewis (12 pts), and Andrew Fecteau (9 pts) played well for the Vikings.

Vikings edged by Chieftains

The Triton Vikings (1-14) led at halftime, 28-23, but were unable to hold on for the win as Masconomet scored the game's last five points to win, 62-58. Collin Smith led the way for Triton with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Charles Anderson did a nice job of finding teammates as he notched 11 assists and scored six points. Darren Lewis (11 points) and Tom Bashaw (7 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) also played well for Triton.

The Triton Vikings (1-12) extended their five game losing streak with a 73-41 loss to Manchester-Essex. Charles Anderson led the Vikings with 13 points, 5 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds, and Tom Bashaw added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Rockport 51, Triton 36

One quarter made a huge difference in a matchup of two Vikings' teams, as Rockport outscored Triton 23-1 in the second quarter and won by a comfortable margin,  51-36.

However, Vikings' coach Ryan Souliotis said Triton worked really hard in the second half and Bert Comins (7 points) was a real spark plug for the team. Sam Ferrara led the Vikes with 10 points.
