Bishop Brady of Concord owns the impressive resume and all the accompanying Division 5 football hardware.

Pelham High remains the hunter.

But that fact does little to deter the confidence of Python coach Tom Babaian.

"We'll take our swings," said Babaian of Saturday night's clash of the unbeatens in Pelham. "They had a run of seniors that just graduated, an excellent group that was tough to beat. That class was excellent. This is the fourth straight year (late 2003) that they haven't lost a regular season game. We're looking to end that."

Babaian's club boasts the division's most dynamic athlete, Bruce Vieira, who has run for 618 yards with 12 TDs in the 4-0 start.

"It's a team effort, though," said senior Jim Mostone, a two-way starter who has missed all four games with a shoulder separation. "We have speed, aggressiveness and a lot of poise. I think we can take them."
