Windham, a second-year varsity volleyball team, won its first ever tourney game, easily dispatching of Portsmouth 25-20, 25-20, 25-13.
"It feels awesome. It feels great. It's a huge accomplishment for us as a program," said Jaguars coach Jill Bartlett.
Melissa Cino (20 assists, 16 service points) deftly ran the offense. Cristy Theriault (16 service points) and Tess Powell (12 digs) anchored the defense.
Saturday the Jags host Somersworth in the quarters. Windham won 3-0 in their previous matchup.
