Trailing 35-31 entering the fourth, Pentucket erupted for 21 points in the final frame to secure the 52-47 win over Triton. Kirsten Daamen led the way with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Andi Attenasio was close behind with 13 points, and Ashley Viselli chipped in 12 for the 18-1 Sachems.

Newburyport 61, Triton 53

For the first time this year, Newburyport won back-to-back games as the Clippers were lead by a balanced scoring attack of  four girls in double figures. The win also officially eliminated Triton from playoff contention.

Sister, sister

Nicole and Erika Zahoruiko were pivotal in North Andover's tourney-qualifying 51-43 victory over Triton. Erika drained six freebies en route to a 12-point night, and Nicole double-doubled with 16 points and 17 boards. Amanda Foote was a terror on defense, limiting Triton star Brittany Caprio to just 4 points.

Vikings lose to Masco, 50-45

The Triton Vikings (6-8) had a four point lead in the fourth quarter but were unable to hold on for the victory as Masconomet rallied late for the 50-45 win. Lauren Mihalchik (12 points), Jen Rock (11 points, 8 rebounds), Rachel Bourque (8 points, 5 steals), and Brittany Caprio (9 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 points) all played well for the Vikings.

Jen Rock led Triton with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Brittany Caprio had 11 points for the Vikings (6-7).

Rachelle Bourque (10 points) and Paige Stokes (6 points, 10 rebounds) led a hardnosed effort for Triton, who beat Amesbury, 41-34. Lauren Mihalchik also had a nice game with eight points and 13 rebounds for the Vikes, while Kerri Salvatoer led Amesbury with 11 points.

 Brittany Caprio led a terrific Triton outing with 11 points and seven assists as the Vikings led from start to finish and won, 46-25. Caleigh Mehan had nine points, Lauren Mihalchik had six points and seven rebounds, and Jen Rock had six points and eight rebounds all for the Vikes.

After much of the Triton team had battled the flu for the past couple of weeks, the Vikings got back in the win column with a slow-paced, yet solid win over Hamilton-Wenham, 43-27.

Lauren Mihalchik led the Vikings with 12 points and six rebounds, and Paige Stokes made a nice contribution with eight points and five rebounds.

Wilmington 53, Triton 38

Jen Rock had a terrific performance scoring 16 points as Triton led through the first half, 25-21. Howeve, turnovers (19 overall) killed the Vikings in the second half and the team lost its momentum as Wilmington took over. Lauren Mihalchik contributed nine points and Maxine Crossman had 10 rebounds before going with an injury and missing the fourth quarter.
