The Newburyport golf team improved to 7-2 on the season by beating Rockport 141-102. Jacob Grossi-Hogg was the medalist on the day with 30 points and Michael Twomey added 29 in the win.

The Newburyport golf team picked up a high-scoring win over rival Amesbury, downing the Indians 154-125. Michael Twomey was the medalist with 34 points and teammate Jacob Grossi-Hogg had 30, while Amesbury was led by Thomas Newell (28 points) and Nolan McGrath (23 points).

The Newburyport and Hamilton-Wenham golf teams played a thriller at Myopia Hunt Club on Tuesday, with the Generals edging out the Clippers by just one point in a 135-134 win. Jacob Grossi-Hogg scored 36 points, Michael Twomey had 25, Sam Lyman added 21 and Colin Richmond scored 20.

Newburyport golf won a rain-shortened match against Georgetown 90-61 on Thursday. Michael Twomey was the medalist with 19 points through five holes, followed by Ryan Archie and Sam Lyman with 16 points and Colin Richmond with 14. Deuce Purcell led Georgetown with 15 points.
