Maggie Pons and Molly Rose Kearney each scored six goals as Newburyport girls lacrosse downed Triton 19-4 on Friday. Ashley McIntire also had three goals and Hannah Schilling had two goals and four assists to help the Clippers improve to 11-0.

Newburyport freshman Sam King had four goals as the girls lacrosse team demolished Lowell 17-1 on Friday. Maggie Pons and Molly Rose Kearney each had three goals, Hannah Schilling had two goals and four assists and Katie Hadden also had two goals in the win.

Newburyport girls lacrosse held off a late charge by Manchester Essex to win 11-10. Maggie Pons scored six goals to lead the way, Hannah Schilling had two goals and two assists, and Molly Laliberty made 11 saves. Newburyport is now 3-0 on the season.

Maggie Pons went off for six goals and an assist as Newburyport girls lacrosse downed Ipswich 13-8 on Wednesday. Molly Rose Kearney had three goals and an assist, Sam King had two goals and two assists, and Molly Laliberty made 11 saves.

Newburyport traveled to Acton-Boxborough to open the season and came out with a victory. A massive defensive effort from Jen Stuart, Margaret Cote, Katie Hadden and more led to the win.
