Colleen Fortier erupted for 20 points including four 3-pointers as Pinkerton tripped Salem 65-41. Kayla Stacy added 16 points and Mariah Bonneau 11. Emily Hickey led Salem with nine points.

Londonderry too tough

Two of the top teams in Division 1 squared off but in the end Londonderry just had too much for archrival Pinkerton. Lindsey Bolduc has 15 points, Katherine Dzenis 12 and Jaime King 10 as the Lancers rolled 50-36.

Bonneau, Astros win in OT

In a strange game, Pinkerton beat Dover 37-36 in overtime. Kayla Stacy's lone hoop was a big one, a 3-pointer with 17 seconds left to tie it for the Astros. Mariah Bonneau (game-high 18 points) scored the Astros' lone points in OT, a layup with 11 seconds left. The hosts limited Dover to 1 point in the extra session.

On a night where Pinkerton shot just one free throw, missing it, the Astros blew out Concord, 64-19. Mariah Bonneau had one of the best scoring nights of her career, hitting for a game-high 16 points in the victory.

After watching an 11-point halftime lead evaporate during Methuen’s 21-point third quarter, Pinkerton converted five of six free throws in the fourth period for a 47-44 victory in the fifth-place game. Kayla Stacy scored seven of her 13 points in the final period to pace the Astros (5-1) while Abby Galloway-Burke led the Rangers (1-4) with 18, including 14 after intermission. Methuen might have pulled off the upset if it didn’t miss 10 of its 14 free throw tries.
