North Andover tops MVC member Chelmsford

Freshman Morgan Lumb continued her outstanding freshman season as she scored 13 points to lead North Andover past Chelmsford, 47-39.

Junior Caitlyn Enright added 10 points while Erica Zahoruiko and and Katie Moroney each grabbed seven rebounds. Amanda Foote had six assists for the 13-6 Knights.

Lawrence 63, Chelmsford 58

Trailing by 13 at the half, Lawrence started off the third quarter on an 8-0 run fueled by two 3-pointers by Ashleigh Greer. The Lancers went on to dump Chelmsford 63-58. Red-hot Yulissa Nunez pumped in 22 points, giving her 42 in the last two games. Nunez added 15 rebounds. Janina Santiago added 16 points in her first start.

Agboola nets 40 points

Rashidat Agboola scored 40 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Methuen to a 64-54 victory over Chelmsford. Rangers coach Karen McLaughlin said she believes it is the most Agboola has ever scored in a high school game. The BU bound Agboola reached the 1,000 career point mark in the Greater Lawrence Girls Christmas Tournament.
