The first time Andover played Chelmsford, the game ended in a tie. Yesterday Andover hammered the Lions, 5-0, as Sarah Oteri had two goals and two assists. Sierra Zwerling, Nicole Giroux, Emily Hook and Laura Dimitruk dominated defensively.

Methuen's defense hold on

Chelmsford led in corners 14-2 but the Methuen defense held strong as the Rangers won 2-1.
"I can't remember the last time we beat them," said Methuen coach Karen McLaughlin. "They have had some games where we've had a great half and a not so good half. Today we played two great halves. They put a lot of pressure on us."
Chelsee Sweeney and Rebecca Armstrong each scored for Methuen (6-5-1).

Chelmsford 5, Lawrence 0

Against a team that has only allowed one goal in Merrimack Valley Conference play, Lawrence struggled in a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Chelmsford.
