7's lucky for Sullivan

Heather Sullivan racked up a season-high seven goals as Andover edged Chelmsford, 13-12.

Trailing 12-9 with three minutes to play, the Lions stormed back to even the score, netting the equalizer with 0:38 to go. It was Sullivan, however, that put home the game-winner on an uncontested shot in front of the net after a Chelmsford turnover. Said coach John McVeigh, "This team just shows a ton of heart and (the win) keeps us alive to win a share of the league title."

Chelmsford 12, Central Catholic 5

Goaltender Liz Steele (nine saves) was a rock in the Central Catholic net and Michelle Bibeau excelled defensively, but Chelmsford was too powerful in a 12-5 decision. Regina LaRose had a goal and three assists for the Raiders (1-1).
