Dana Zahoruiko led Amesbury with 12 points. Kerri Salvator added 10 for the Indians (5-12). Masconomet led 29-21 at halftime.

Eight's great!

Central Catholic made it eight straight wins after beating Masconomet, 59-37. Star center Katie Zenevitch had a double-double with 23 points and 19 boards to go along with 3 assists and one 3-pointer. Melissa Miller drained five field goals and a freebie for 11 points, and Gia O'Connor chipped in with 8 points. The Raiders, ranked No. 4 in the state, improve to 12-2.

Vikings lose to Masco, 50-45

The Triton Vikings (6-8) had a four point lead in the fourth quarter but were unable to hold on for the victory as Masconomet rallied late for the 50-45 win. Lauren Mihalchik (12 points), Jen Rock (11 points, 8 rebounds), Rachel Bourque (8 points, 5 steals), and Brittany Caprio (9 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 points) all played well for the Vikings.
