Methuen beat Chelmsford in the North prelims, 8-1, on a complete-game MacKenzie Yirrell 5-hitter. Makenna Donovan had a bases-clearing triple and Avry Nelson was 4-for-4 with 3 ribbies.

Juliana Roche had a whopping seven RBIs, which included a grand slam, but that wasn't enough for North Andover in a 13-10 loss to Chelmsford.

In Andover's 5-2 win over Chelmsford, Eliza Rousseau made four brilliant plays in centerfield and Jackie Giordano fired a 5-hitter, with 12 Ks and one walk. Alyssa Sellinger went 3-for-3. 

Haverhill's softball team improved to 5-5 with its fifth straight win, defeating Chelmsford, 5-2. Sicily DeDomenico was once again a force, string out 17 batters and Shelby Eason was 2 for 4 with two runs scored.

Junior Makenna Donovan had two doubles, two home runs and drove in six runs as Methuen's bats came alive in a 19-5 rout of Chelmsford. Stephanie Tardugno was 5 for 6 and Ariana Baez aldo had a home run. Freshman Mackenzie Yirrell struck out 10 and got the win.

Freshman Katie Fox hit a grand slam in the fifth to pull Central from behind on its way to a 14-10 win over Chelmsford.
