Raiders bounce back

 

Central Catholic's hockey team bounced back in a big way after being shut out for the first time all year in its last game, ripping Concord-Carlisle 9-1. Mike Dinges had a hat trick for the Raiders (7-3-1) and Jake Doucette scored twice.

Last-second stunner

With three seconds left in regulation, Andrew Perry scored a goal to bring North Andover to a 3-3 tie with Concord-Carlisle. Under the new format, the game technically ends in a tie, but Jimmy Boyle scored in overtime for the Knights (7-2-1).

Hillies break ice

 

Haverhill's hockey team wion its first game of the season, clipping Concord-Carlisle 5-2. Evan Foskett and Brady Ferreira both scored twice for the Hillies (1-1) and Zach Roughan had 31 saves.

Alfonzo, Scott lead Rangers to opening win

Zach Alfonzo made a whopping 50 saves and Colby Scott scored two goals, including the overtime game-winner, as Methuen opened its season with a 4-3 victory over Concord-Carlisle. Aidan Hollingsworth and Ethan Schena each added a goal for the Rangers.
