Devin Melia's two-run hit fulled a massive 9-run fifth inning for Methuen in a 9-6 win over Chelmsford. A.J. Borelli pitched a complete game with only one earned run, four strikeouts and no walks.

Anthony Sapienza came in and shut the door in the bottom of the seventh to secure the 7-6 victory for North Andover baseball. Sebastian Keane pitched the first five innings and also went 2 for 2 at the plate with a pair of RBIs.

Cedric Gillette threw a complete game with nine strikeouts and Matthew Potts had three hits, including a triple, and three RBIs to lead Andover baseball over Chelmsford 8-1. The win further sets up a marquee matchup between Andover (3-1) and Central Catholic (6-1) on Wednesday (weather permitting).

Trailing 5-4 heading into the bottom of the fifth, Michael Borrelli drove in Dom Keegan to tie the game up for Central Catholic baseball. A few batters later, Joey Sanchez lined a two-run single to give the Raiders the lead, and junior Jonathan Montanile pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with five Ks to finish off the 7-5 win.
