Extra-base rally

 

Pinkerton scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth on doubles by Caitlin Hogan and Abby Amato and RBI triples by Alyssa DiMauro and Carrie St. Peter to rally past Merrimack 7-4 in the first round of the Division 1 tournament. St. Peter had a season-high 14 strikeouts to pick up the win for the Astros (14-5).

M.K. power

 

M.K. Livingston had three hits, including two doubles, and knocked in five runs as Timberlane's bats came alive in an 11-3 win over Merrimack. Winning pitcher Jillian Aziz had four hits and scored two runs.

Murphy delivers

 

Brooke Murphy had three hits and drove in three runs and scored twice as Salem remained hot, defeating Merrimack 12-3. Victoria Andrade continued to hit the ball hard with two hits and two RBIs and Maddie Rastello also had two hits and drove in two runs.

Katrina Rivard smacked two doubles, scored once and had two RBIs as Londonderry stayed unbeaten, whipping Merrimack 6-1.
