Sanborn advances

Sanborn field hockey won its opening state tournament game handily, beating Hollis-Brookline 4-0. Molly Hayes, Ally Statezni, Haley Basiliere and Amy Eacho each scored, and Ali Gannon made two saves for the shutout.

Overtime winner

Sanborn's Emma Toto scored the overtime winner to help lead the field hockey team to a 5-4 win over Milford. Toto and Paige DesRosiers both had two goals in the game, and Ally Statezni had the remaining goal.

Haley heroics

Sanborn got an overtime winning goal from Haley Basiliere when she one-touched a nice pass from Amy Eacho into the back of the net just two minutes into the extra frame. The Indians actually got a goal from Emma Toto with five minutes left to go in the second half to force OT.

Rachel Estes led a dominant defense from her setter position as Windham downed Sanborn 2-0. Bri Langlois and Emma Lindquist scored the Jaguar goals.

Haley's heroics

In overtime, Sanborn's Emma Toto came up with a steal and raced toward the Goffstown cage where she was able to draw the defenders and the goalie before making a nice pass to Haley Basiliere who scored the game-winning goal in the 2-1 victory. Toto had both assists, and Ali Ganon made seven saves.

Gannon Dazzles

Sanborn lost 3-1 to Portsmouth on Thursday, but goalie Ali Gannon was spectacular. She made 18 saves, and Haley Basiliere scored the team's lone goal.
