The Pentucket girls lacrosse team erased a five-goal deficit late to beat defending Division 2 state champion Newburyport in overtime 16-14. Jess Lusty scored the go-ahead goal with one second remaining in the first overtime period, and then Erin Mikson added another in the second overtime to put the game away. The win was also the first over the Clippers for the Pentucket seniors.
