Cervizzi, Brooks drop finale

North Reading's Chris Cervizzi again impressed, returning a punt for a touchdown and rushing for 72 yards, but Brooks dropped its season finale to St. Paul's 34-6.

Cervizzi provided the Green and White's long score of the day, running a punt back 62 yards for the score. he also carried 17 times for his team-high 72 yards.

Potent Nobles offense downs Brooks

Ryan Vultaggio was a one-man wrecking crew for Nobles, commanding an offense that churned up 546 total yards in a 49-26 victory over Brooks.

The quarterback was 8 for 17 passing for 202 yards and a touchdown while carrying the ball 18 times for 283 yards and four TDs.

Belmont Hill whips Brooks

 

NORTH ANDOVER — Brooks ran into an angry Belmont Hill squad and paid the price, falling behind 21-0 in the first quarter and dropping a 35-7 decision.

The Green and WHite (1-4), trying to win their second straight, broke up the shutout bid in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard scoring run by Justin Freeman.

Brooks breaks through for first win

 

WESTON  — After struggling through three losses, the Brooks football team put it all together yesterday with a 36-7 thumping of host Rivers.

The Green and White showed good balance offensively with a solid ground game to go along with improving sophomore KJ Moore, who threw three touchdowns, and its defense dominated.
