Jaclyn Torres missed 11 games this season with an injured ankle but she is back and scored three goals in Andover's 14-4 victory over Chelmsford in the Division 1 North quarterfinals.

Last-second setback

After losing to Central Catholic to open and close the regular season, Chelmsford fought back from a halftime deficit and scored with 8.4 seconds left to play to take the Division 1 North first round matchup, 13-12. With three goals and an assist each, Kelly Daigle and Meri Anthoine led Central's offense throughout the back-and-forth battle.

Meri comes through

Meri Anthoine found the mark with just 1 1/2 minutes left to play to give Central Catholic a come-from-behind 9-8 lacrosse victory over Chelmsford. "It was a good game on a sloppy day," said Raiders head coach Phil Rowley. "Both teams worked hard."

Eight straight for Andover

Ally Fazio and Charlotte Lenes each scored three times to lead Andover in a 14-5 win over Chelmsford. The win clinched the Merrimack Valley title for the eighth-straight year for the Golden Warriors (16-3).  With the win, Andover concludes its third straight undefeated MVC season.
