Lawrence outlasted Andover

Reibin Hiraldo scored 12 service points and 38 assists as Lawrence held off upset-minded Andover 25-22, 22-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-11. Anibal Henriquez added 15 kills and seven digs for the winners, while Joe Kuykendall continued to star for the Golden Warriors with 35 kills and 18 digs.

HAVERHILL — After squandering the lead in a first-game loss, Haverhill rebounded with three straight wins to defeat visiting Lawrence 3-1 last night.

The Hillies, which won the program's first North Division title last year in a victory over the Lancers, overcame that 32-30 loss in the first game to win the final three by scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.
