Despite two goals and three assists for Ally Fazio, Andover lost to Lincoln-Sudbury 12-7 in the Division 1 North final.

ANDOVER — Trailing by two goals and struggled to find any momentum 14 minutes into yesterday’s contest, Andover girls lacrosse could have panicked at the idea of an upset.

Jaclyn Torres missed 11 games this season with an injured ankle but she is back and scored three goals in Andover's 14-4 victory over Chelmsford in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. 

Andover's girls lacrosse team got goals from 11 players in an easy 15-4 first-round Divisision 1 victory over Peabody. Junior Micaela McQuade had her first goal of the season for the Warriors (18-3), who host Chelmsford at 4 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals.

A year after Andover snapped Londonderry girls lacrosse's 51-game winning streak, the Golden Warriors again topped their New Hampshire rival, besting the Lancers 18-7. Ally Fazio led the Golden Warriors with six goals and a pair of assists while Meagan Keefe scored four key goals, Anne Farnham also had four scores and Jill Beucler made 10 saves.

Ally Fazio and Charlotte Lenes each scored three times to lead Andover in a 14-5 win over Chelmsford. The win clinched the Merrimack Valley title for the eighth-straight year for the Golden Warriors (16-3).  With the win, Andover concludes its third straight undefeated MVC season.

On Senior Night, all six Andover senior field players scored (Kate and Anne Farnham, Ally Fazio, Jaymi Cohen, Bridget Thibodeau and Laura Lilley) in a 16-6 win over Central Catholic.

Ally Fazio (3 goals, 5 assists) and Weezie Gross (4 goals) led Andover girls lacrosse to a 17-11 victory over North Andover.

Behindfive goals from senior Ally Fazio, Andover beat the top-ranked team in the state, Notre Dame, 13-11. Andover moves to 10-3 on the season while the Golden Warriors handed Notre Dame (11-1) its first loss of the season.

ANDOVER —The Andover girls lacrosse team won for the sixth time in seven outings this season, routing visiting Pinkerton 17-8 yesterday.

Senior Ally Fazio and sophomore Weezy Gross each had five goals for the Golden Warriors. Fazio added three assists. Anne Farnham added two goals and three assists for Andover. Pinkerton, which has not won in four matches this season, got three goals from Kennedy Daziel and a pair from both Erin Coutts and Riann Daziel.
