Brooks ousted in semis

Holderness tied it two minutes into third then took lead with three minutes left en route to a 5-3 win over Brooks in the semifinals of the New England Prep Piatelli-Simmons Tourney. Mitch Nylen, Greg Conrad, Andrew Bruno scored for Brooks. Nick Potter had two assists. Zander Buttress led the defense.

Brooks 5, BB&N 2

Nick Potter and Connor Hannough each scored two goals as Brooks boys hockey beat BB&N 5-2 to win the ISL Eberhart championship.

Brooks learns today whether it has made the New England Prep Championship tournament.

Tim Driscoll scored twice and Seamus O'Neill and Austin Heffner each scored once as Phillips Academy (11-9-3) edged Brooks, 4-3. Nick Potter, Packy Jones and Hayden Lynch each scored for Brooks (14-10). Eddie Ellis had three assists for the Big Blue.

Jones caps amazing comeback

Packy Jones tied the game with just over a minute left, then scored the game-winner in overtime as Brooks rallied back from a five-goal third-quarter deficit to beat BB&N 6-5. Nick Potter assisted on both the tying and winning goals and freshman Max Prawdzik of Andover won his first career start.
