But No. 5 seeded North Andover lost 2-1 to No. 4 seeded Chelmsford in the quartefinals of the Division 1 North field hockey tournament.

Central Catholic played exceptionally well. but late Chelmsford goals in both halves sent the Raiders to a tough 2-1 defeat. The Lions scored on a penalty stroke with 30 seconds left in the contest to break the tie.

Warriors stay unbeaten

Meaghan Keefe scored a pair of goals, one in each half, as Andover stayed undefeated, handing league rival Chelmsford its second loss of the season, 2-1.

Passing first test

 

Andover's field hockey team defeated previously unbeaten Chelmsford, 3-0, as Taylor Farris scored twice and Anne Farnham had a pair of assists. Shannon Tully recorded her sixth shutout for the Warriors.
