Record setting relay

Phillips' 200 freestyle relay of Michael Camarda, David Cao, Joe Faller and Tim Wynter broke both the pool record, previously held by Exeter, and the school record, in Phillip's only home meet of 2014, a 102-63 victory over Northfield Mount Hermon.

Tough opener

 

The Brooks boys basketball team had a challenging opener to say the least, falling to defending national prep champion Northfield Mount Hermon 97-51.

Brooks trailed 42-28 at halftime and narrowed the gap early in the second half before Northfield pulled away. Lavar Harewood led Brooks with 14 points.

Phillips runs wild over N.M.H.

Led by 141 yards for Ryder Strong, Phillips rushed for 328 yards as a team as the Big Blue pounded N.M.H. 50-6.

"We ran the ball very nicely and threw when we had to," said Phillips coach Leon Modeste. "Our offense was very out of sync last week. We just couldn't get anything done. This week we really showed what we can do."
