Kingswood-Oxford used a 19-2 run midway through the first half to seperate itself from Brooks and hand the Green and White a 61-58 setback, last night in the Class B semifinals at Williston-North Hampton.
Brooks (21-3) pulled to within one with three minutes to go but could get no closer. Junior point guard Aaron Davis had 11 assists and seven points, Anthony Barry had 21 points and nine rebounds and David Berroa played a great defensive game.
"This has been an incredible season for us, one of the best ever in school history," said Brooks head coach John McVeigh. "The team showed heart right up to the end, and I'm so proud of them as players and people. We just ran out of time tonight against a very good opponent."
