Sophomore Bridget Leahy may not have big numbers (4 goals, 3 assists), but has been an impact player and one of the NEC's top sophomores, Beverly coach Kristin Macdonald said.
Bridget is the daughter of Beverly boys coach Kevin Leahy. The relationship is obvious in Bridget's all-around skills.
"Bridget does a lot of good things for us, getting inside the box and giving us a lot of opportunities from the top. She's been a player since she stepped on the field for the first time as a freshman," Macdonald said. "It's rough for a freshman to come in and have a role like she did, but Bridget had no problem with it."
