Maeve Holland's overtime goal in the 90th minute propelled No. 6 Londonderry to a 2-1 win over No. 3 Salem, in ysterday's Division 1 quarterfinal action. Lydia Simmons assisted on the goal, which backed the a solid goalkeeping perfromance from Kelsy Derhak (6 saves).
Salem took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Gina Righini, in the 8th minute. That goal looked as if it would stand but Londonderry put in the equlizer with 17 minutes remaining in regulation when Ailish Pilotte netted an unassisted goal.
Londonderry (12-4-2) will meet No. 2 Hollis-Brooklie in Tuesday's semifinal meeting, at Exeter High School (4 p.m.).
