Methuen High finished up its regular season by holding off a resilient Greater Lawrence Tech bunch, 71-66.
Raudy Minaya paced the Rangers in a battle of two of the region's top scorers.
Minaya, the Methuen junior, netted 28 points, a number equalled in defeat by the Reggies' Donald Celestin.
Michael Gorman was on his game with a season-high 19 for the Rangers, while Kyle Mansour tossed in 11.
Melvin Moreno had 22 for 6-12 Greater Lawrence, which returns to action today against Shawsheen.
Now 8-12, Methuen heads to the Division 1 North tourney thanks to its second place finish in the MVC small.
