When Whittier's girls volleyball team lost its second set to Northeast and the match was tied, junior Nina Berube stepped up big. Her accurate serving, finishing with 18 points and four aces, got the Wildcats back on track and running to a 3-1 victory.
"She really provided a spark that energized everybody and got the momentum back," said Whittier head coach Deb Littlefield. "She was a huge help (yesterday)."
