Nathalia Cinteron won the javelin (91-2.5) and long jump (15-7) and ran on the winning 4x100 relay as Whittier beat Northeast 76-51. Jillian Collins added a win in the triple jump (32-3) and was on the winning 4x100.

Jerison Andujar pitched a complete game, throwing six shutout innings, as Greater Lawrence beat Northeast 6-2.

Liz Vallone and Hannah Azzari each scored five goals and added four assists as Whittier opened its season with a 14-8 win over Northeast. Samantha Azzari added three goals and three assists. 

Trailing by four goals heading into the fourth quarter, Whittier outscored Northeast 5-0 in the final frame, with Ryan Cole providing the game-winner as the Wildcats won 8-7. Kody DiCredico led the winners with three goals.

Lewis Garcia eupted for 27 points and Sam Cruz hit for 15 as Greater Lawrence dumped Northeast, 83-68.
