MANCHESTER — Londonderry used the "home run" on offense and tight defense last night to notch its fourth win in the last five games, 22-8 over Manchester Memorial.

After a 22-yard TD run by Alex Lambert (22 carries, 105 yards) early in the second quarter, the Lancers (4-3) scored on an 80-yard pass play from Ross Johnston to Sean O'Gorman to make it 13-0 at halftime.

After a 26-yard Matt Charest field goal early in the fourth quarter made it 16-0, O'Gorman (5-149) clinched the win with an 89-yard scoring run, making it 22-0.

Memorial's only touchdown came late in the game on a 29-yard fumble return. Other than that, Londonderry's defense made every pivotal play.
