With 18 seconds left, Triton was tied with a strong Hamilton-Wenham side. But after a good set play leading to a goal and a turnover, the Generals made the Vikings pay, and escaped with a win.
Caleb Woodworth (3 goals, 3 assists) and goalie Carson True (13 saves) each had terrific games for the Vikings. Nick DeFrancesco had two goals, Tony Mirandi had two goals, Cody Sheppard had a goal, and Craig White had an assist.
Coach Donna Andersen said her team played very physical in the second half and held its own in a great performance.
