Despite being limited to a single hit, the Vikings (1-4) were able to beat Ipswich yesterday, 1-0. Mikaela Strangie (1 for 2, double, run) scored the game-winner on a wild pitch, and Marion Dulleau (7 IP, 3 hits, 1 walk, 10 Ks) pitched a gem for the win.
"It was a great game with both pitchers really throwing well," said Triton coach Jim Hounham. "Both teams had early chances, but we were able to capitalize."
