The news, as expected, was not good for Central's Zach Lattrell, who underwent surgery at Children's Hospital for his broken leg, suffered in the Lawrence game. The promising 6-foot, 190-pounder, who overcame surgery last year on his other knee, hopes to recover for the baseball season.

Sticking with the Raiders, apologies go out to big tight end/linebacker Chris Farren, who had the key second-quarter fumble recovery that set up Central's first score. The recovery had originally been credited to Matt Smith.
