LAWRENCE — Central Catholic went on a 9-2 run to start the second half and Pinkerton Academy never recovered. The Raiders raced to a lopsided 64-35 victory and moved into the Greater Lawrence Christmas Tourney semifinals, where they will take on fellow MVC power Lawrence Monday at 6 p.m.

Marsden, who was a game-time decision due to the flu, played like he was 100 percent, pumping in a game-high 21 points. Desrosiers added 16 points and the 6-11 junior completely shut down Pinkerton's normally productive inside game.

Ben Proulx, a 6-4 junior, led the Astros with eight points and 6-6 junior Zach Mathieu and senior guard Beau Cassidy added six apiece.
