Timberlane crowned three champions and placed in 12 events but it wasn't enough to overtake Connecticut power Danbury at the Redskin Invitational in Sanford, Maine.
Danbury, which was New England champion in 2017, surged to 243 points while the Owls came next in the 24-team field with 217.5. Timberlane's B team finished eighth.
Winning individual titles were vastly improved Nick Roeger at 113, Connor McGonagle at 132 and Nick Pallaria at 138. Pallaria, who has also wrestled at 152 this year, defeated teammate Brent Seavey in the finals.
Also finishing second for Timberlane were Cody Wild at 126 and Chris Lund at 220 while John Leavitt (120) and freshman surprise Cooper Kelly (170) took thirds.
