Central Catholic's Josh Lavallee fired a 75 to earn first place as an individual and lead the Raiders to the team title at the Merrimack Valley Conference Golf Championship on Thursday at Vesper Country Club.
Central finished with 234 points as a team, outdistancing No. 2 Andover (240). North Andover and Chelmsford tied for third with 247 points, Haverhill tied for fifth (267) and Methuen was ninth (278).
Lavallee — a Haverhill resident — shot a 3-over 75 for medalist honors. He edged North Andover's James Robbins (76), Andover's Mac Lee (77) and Haverhill's Troy Donahue (78).
The champion Raiders also earned key contributions from Mike Yfantopolus (fifth, 79) and Evan Giggey (tie for sixth, 80). Devin Coonradt led Methuen, taking 12th with an 83.
