HOLLIS — What was a tight game early turned into a 27-13 halftime deficit for Sanborn after host Hollis-Brookline put up 21 points in the second quarter.
The Cavaliers (4-2) used that big frame to earn a comfortable 41-21 win over the Indians Friday night.
Sophomore Jackson Paradis continued his breakout season for Sanborn (1-5), rushing for 179 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. Senior Todd Dabrieo rushed for 48 yards on five carries with a TD, and senior Ben Giles had 30 yards and a score on six carries.
The Indians will look to end their five-game losing streak at home against Milford next Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
