The Manchester-Essex field hockey team got a big shot in the arm with the return of play maker Lee Stroman. The senior midfielder had missed the first half of the season with a torn acl that she suffered last winter. Stroman made an instant impact scoring a goal in the Hornets 7-0 win over Pentucket yesterday.
"It is huge for us to get Lee back," Hornets head coach Pam Grant said. "She is a great player and will really help us down the stretch."
Manchester Essex (8-1-1) got two goals from Amelia Cohen and Amelia Burke. Lizzy Ball and Jen Bishop added one goal each.
