Haverhill beat Methuen, 3-1, with a Meredith Budds goal leaving 11th-year Hillie coach Fred Tarbox almost speechless.
He said, "It was one of the best high school goals I've ever seen. Amanda Van Cor (goal 2 assists), crossed to her, it was a bullet. She reached and dove on a header. It was unbelivable, awesome. Like something you see with professional soccer."
