CHELMSFORD - Central Catholic got an overtime goal from Mary Lambert, and the No. 6 Raiders pulled off the upset of MVC rival and 3-seeded Chelmsford 2-1 in the Division 1 North quarterfinals Sunday evening.
Maddie DiPietro had the first goal, and goalie Nicole Brennan made 13 saves in the win.
Central (16-3-1) will now face No. 7 seed Acton-Boxboro in the Division 1 North semifinals at Reading High on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
