Salem scored three runs in the first inning and then rode the arm of junior Camryn Hanninen to a 4-0 victory over Manchester Central, sending the Blue Devils (18-20 to Tuesday's semifinals, where it will face Spaulding at Southern New Hampshire University.
Red-hot Victoria Andrade (3 for 3) led the way with a pair of RBI singles and Ashley Conway added an RBI hits as well. Leadoff batter Brooke Murphy was 2 for 4 with a run scored.
Hanninen, meanwhile, tossed a nifty one-hitter, strining out four without walking a batter.
