Needham's effort for naught in Phillips loss

North Reading's Bobby Needham was a terror with three sacks, but that was one of the few highlights for Phillips Academy in a 35-13 loss to Worcester Academy.

Needham also made a team-high eight tackles, while Jumaane Ford added eight tackles and a sack of his own.

Max Anthony provided all of the offense for the Big Blue, scoring on touchdown runs of 1 and 7 yards.

Phillips now looks to regroup before hosting its rival of more than a century, Phillips Exeter on Saturday in Andover at 5:45 p.m.
