Astros roll over Londonderry in quarters

ERRY — The Pinkerton Astros crushed cross-town rival Londonderry in NHIAA quarterfinal action Saturday.

With their 55-7 win, Pinkerton advances to semifinal play in Keene at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Astros dominated throughout. TJ Urbanik got Pinkerton on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a 64-yard touchdown run. He ended up with three touchdowns on the day.

It was 14-0 Pinkerton at the end of the first, 35-0 at halftime and 42-0 at the end of the third.

Londonderry got on the board in the fourth, thanks to an 80-yard TD run by Jonathan Young to make it 49-7.

The final score was Pinkerton, 55-7.
