Odds and ends: There are Lundquists everywhere. Allison and Maggie Lundquist are sisters. Kara Lundquist, who commutes all the way from Bow, N.H., is their cousin. Kara's mother, Kim, is an assistant with FCA. Alison and Maggie's brother is FCA soccer star Brian Lundquist. ... Melissa Farinha started two years ago but elected not to play last winter. ... Vicki and Marieme Garcia are sisters.
Coach Scott Phillips (2nd year, 8-9): "It's good to have Melissa Farinha returning. These girls are the same as the volleyball team (which reached the Division 3 North semifinals). They have a lot of desire. Hopefully we'll do as well as last year. Brittany Glines is a great all-around player. Allison Lundquist blossomed last year."
