Whittier's baseball team continued to roll, blasting Triton 11-1. Paul Mahoney threw a nifty two-hitter, striking out 11, and the Wildcats (5-0) pulled away with a seven-run second inning highlighted by a Brian Vezina (2 for 4) triple and a three-run double by Andrew Wells (3 for 4).
"That's as good as I've seen Paul pitch," said Whittier coach Joe Boland.
