Nick DeFusco's goal at the 3:19 mark in overtime put the finishing touches on Haverhill's 8-7 overtime thriller over Lowell. DeFusco charged to the net and made a nice spin move before scoring on a bounce shot.
Connor Tufts had four goals to lead the Hillies (2-0) and Nathaniel Vazquez added three. Josh White made eight saves to secure the win.
