The Phillips Academy boys soccer team advancd to today's New England Class A finals with a 3-1 victory over archrival Phillips Eseter.
The Big Blue had lost to Phillips Exeter at the end of the regular season, a setback which may have worked in their favor.
"I think we learned from our mistakes and just played much better," said Phillips coach Bill Scott.
Taylor Chin scored once and Sam Hewatt scored twice for Phillips, which improved to 13-2-1. It will play Hotchkiss at 2 p.m. at Northfield Mt. Hermon in the finals.
